On the afternoon of March 5, 2024, leaders including Gao Wei, Deputy Director of the Jilin Provincial Development and Reform Commission, Wang Xiaoming, Director of the Industrial Department, Wang Hongtao, Director of the Environmental Resources Department, Wang Dong, Deputy Secretary and Acting County Mayor of Dongfeng County, Zhang Jun, Executive Deputy County Mayor, Zhang Weijin, Deputy County Mayor, Meng Xiangjiu, Director of the County Development and Reform Bureau, and Liu Lei, Director of the Industry and Information Technology Bureau, visited Jilin Xinda Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. to investigate the production, operation, and project construction of the enterprise. At the section steel branch of the Steel Rolling Plant, a group of leaders stopped and listened to introductions. When they learned that Xinda section steel had been used in key projects such as the Yangjiang Nuclear Power Plant, Shenbai High speed Railway, and Daxing'anling National Oil Reserve, everyone expressed appreciation for the level of production line equipment and product quality.

Feng Aimin gave a detailed report on the company's economic operation and project construction, and stated that Jilin Xinda Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. has conscientiously implemented the work deployment of the municipal and county governments to steadily increase production and drive the economy, seized opportunities, and worked hard to move forward. The production and operation performance has been steadily improving and progressing well. Equipment upgrading and transformation, as well as enterprise supply chain, extension chain, and strong chain projects, are steadily advancing, and the quality of development is even more abundant. We hope that the Provincial Development and Reform Commission can provide more guidance and assistance for the development of Jilin Xinda, support enterprises to grow and strengthen, and promote mutual benefit and win-win outcomes for local enterprises.

Gao Wei pointed out that Jilin Xinda Steel Co., Ltd., as a pillar enterprise of regional economic development, plays an important role in innovation leading development, enhancing industrial competitiveness, and promoting economic growth. He emphasized that the Provincial Development and Reform Commission will fully support the development of Jilin Xinda, and efficiently and high-quality solve the problems encountered in enterprise production and operation; Intensify project construction assistance efforts to ensure timely commencement and effective production of projects.
